Pilkingtons Bar, Terrace and Kitchen is a busy place and like most restaurants it has specific functional requirements. Consideration of this was integral to the early stages of developing the design alongside Cheshire Architects who completed the interior fitout. The building is regularly viewed from above and careful thought to services created the opportunity for an attractive fifth elevation. The building evokes the senses; a refined palette of high quality materials are detailed to perfection. The result is a building that feels elegant and creates a sense of intimacy while still interacting generously with the urban realm.
