The house initially greets people with a robust shed-like vernacular then yields to the dramatic light filled volume of the main living area, often surprising first time visitors. Each material is chosen for its texture and colour to further contribute to the overall composition. Lighting has been carefully selected so at night the home becomes a play of light and shadow. A home to be lived in; designed by the family, for the family.
